4. Project/Request Reviews:

a) MINI PROJECT - CA Duck Days presented by Liz Merry
We approved the Duck days project as follows;

Start: December 5, 2001
End: September 5, 2002
Contact: Liz Merry verve@dcn.davis.ca.us
Resources: WebTeam help and advice
Participation in Training workshops with fee waiver
Goal Upgrade and beautify the Duck Days website
which is already hosted by DCN.

b) FREE NONPROFIT SHELL - Woodland Business Link presented by Richard Yamagata
Richard described the nonprofit, networking, business group on
whose behalf he is requesting a DCN shell account.
Committee members had not reviewed the site which
already exists on a Woodland server and so a decision
was deferred to give members a chance to review the site
at http://www.business-link.org
The contents of this site would be copied over to a DCN shell
presumably using the address www.dcn.davis.ca.us/go/bizlink/

c) FREE NONPROFIT SHELL - ATLAS - for committee discussion
This request came from a group located in belize and the IPC
found no connection with Davis or the region in which DCN functions.
The request will be denied with an explanatory email from the IPC Chair.

5. Other and Announcements:
a. Richard Yamagata asked if the IPC was planning a joint meeting
with the WebTeam to strategize DCN's involvement in the
upcoming election - in which DCN assists with providing public
information on its website.
Anne said that this had not come up recently and so she
would contact the WebTeam Chair (Steve).

b. Richard said that he has put the results of a questionnaire that
he recently circulated to DCN subscribers at the URL
http://www.dcn.davis.ca.us/go/yamagata/poll/

c. Anne reviewed the meeting packet which included the following
handouts to be stored in committee members' new, blue,
shiny IPC folders :)
