The request was made necessary by City of Woodland budget cuts and will be used, exclusively to benefit seniors, by the Woodland Senior Center Community Resource Specialist. This person will use it to access the Internet to research information about social services available to area seniors. This is something that is currently proving very effective in revealing new or hitherto unknown opportunities. d) Wood Moulding, Manufacturers, and Producers Association (WMMPA): Proposal by Richard Yamagata Project Leader: Heidi Ratzlaff Xiong Project Start 3/5/03 Project End 9/5/03 Zope Folder with option of a Zope Forum A further aspect of this proposal is a partnership between DCN and Virtual Markets in which Virtual Markets wishes to negotiate with DCN the use of space in the Zope environment on Velocipede for which they will pay a monthly fee. The IPC advised Richard Yamagata to work with Richard Lowenberg on this. 4. There was brief discussion concerning lack of continuity in nonprofit group leadership resulting in loss of institutional memory concerning resources authorized through IPC projects. This had been addressed during the reviews of the proposals before the committee and project applicants had been asked to supply official real-mail addresses and phone numbers of the organizations they represented. 5. Thoughts to forward to the DCN Board as it undertakes its annual retreat. There was not time to have this discussion and so Anne asked committee members to send their thoughts to her by email Adjourned at 7:58pm Next meeting April 2, 2003
