MEETING NOTES
IPC Regular Meeting Wed. Sep. 3, 2003
The following were present at the meeting:
Alan Boden, Alan Bratasani, John Chiles, Anne Evans, Joey 
Weisenberg, and
Richard Yamagata.

The meeting was chaired by Richard Yamagata.

1.	The Rutilio Grand Sisiter City application was tabled 
for a future meeting. Although 2 people attended to present the 
application they were not well enough informed to be able to 
make any decisions about what resources would be needed. 
Anne Evans made the motion on tabling the sponsored project 
and Alan seconded.  The motion was passed unamiously.  
Richard Lowenberg said that he would follow up in contacting 
the person that sent the on-line application.

2.	The Issue about links to commercial content on DCN 
sponsored projects was not resolved. Perhaps the IPC needs to 
define unacceptable links.  Suggested at the meeting was the 
statement:

	Any link or web content is allowed on a DCN/IPC 
sponsored resource that benefits the nonprofit group authorized 
to use the resource unless it (a link or content) compromises 
community goodwill toward the group's resource.

3.	The following IPC policy was re-affirmed:

 No links or content to benefit individuals rather than 
the  organization may be included on a DCN/IPC sponsored  
resource authorized for a non-profit group.

4.	The issue of IPC support for its projects was discussed. 
Suggestions were:

	    Questionnaires after classes.
	    Must not refer projects needing websites to any 
specific  web company. DCN will refer people to the Omsoft 
list of web  page developers as a starting point.
