Also to improve communication between staff and volunteers at the three physical YCCC locations (Davis, Woodland and West Sacramento). -------------------------- Vicki Suter made a request for the IPC to collaborate with her in an aspect of the CPB Volunteer Management Project involving the recruitment of three new mini- projects. These three projects would serve specifically as controls for the purposes of the CPB project evaluation. They would be monitored as they move through the equivalent of the first two stages of the CPB project. It was agreed that the IPC would collaborate in this way. John Batchelder agreed to inquire of DPNS (Davis Parent Nursery School) and Saint Martins Episcopal Church to see if they would benefit from and be interested in a miniproject. Ed Henn offered to check with City staff in case a nonprofit associated with the City might be interested. -------------------------- Please Note: The DCN Board and Omsoft have agreed to the trial program for nonprofits. This will be implemented right away but we have no idea how soon any nonprofits will notice or hear about it. -------------------------- ** NEXT MEETING - Wednesday, December 2, 1998 ** Attendance has not been very good recently - please mark your calendars and plan on coming on December 2.
